Quick Start Guide

Understanding Product data is bread and butter of any WooCommerce to Odoo integration.
Before syncing orders, invoices, inventory, or customer records, both systems need to have a shared understanding of what product is being sold.
If the product mapping is incorrect, then everything downstream becomes unreliable. Orders may sync against the wrong product. Invoices may be created with missing product lines. Stock levels may not update correctly. Product variants may be duplicated. Reporting in Odoo may become messy or inaccurate.
For this reason, product mapping should be planned before a sync is enabled.
The main goal is to answer one simple question:
When a product is purchased in WooCommerce, which exact product should that connect to in Odoo?
This article will cover how to map WooCommerce products to Odoo products, including simple products, variable products, SKUs, product templates, variants, attributes, prices, categories, stock settings, and product images.
